What is Reiki?
Reiki is a gentle healing technique that reduces stress and promotes healing and relaxation. It is a simple and safe holistic therapy that influences and heals the body, mind, mind and spirit.
Reiki Energy
Reiki is grounded in the belief that life force energy flows within us all. When this life force energy is low, stress, illness and disease occur. Reiki works by improving this life force energy and bringing about a sense of peace and wellbeing and enhancing a person’s quality of life. This energy is channelled through a practioner and is multidimensional, working on whatever level is needed, physical, emotional, mental and/or spiritual.
Reiki Complements Other Treatments
Reiki can promote healing on its own but can also support other healing modalities such as Colour Therapy and Holistic Counselling providing an all-inclusive approach to healing.
The benefits of Reiki are endless but some include:
- Reducing Stress,
- Reducing blood pressure,
- Removing energy blockages,
- Aid in weight loss and in breaking addictions,
- Reducing or eliminating pain and
- Accelerating the body’s self healing abilities.
Kids' Introduction to Reiki, Chakras and Auras (6-10yrs)
Designed to teach the basics and theory behind Usui Reiki in these fun, hands on workshops. Our kids will learn how to use this healing modality to help them manage their stress and anxiety and to regulate their emotions in everyday life.
Our kids will be offered two attunements, learn about chakras and auras and how to maintain them for optimum health, learn how to do a self Reiki treatment and give and receive a seated Reiki healing.
These are fun, hands on workshops with a variety of learning styles catered for with visual, auditory and tactile activities including “how to see the aura”.
Parents are encouraged to stay for this workshop which will be capped at 6 participants.
Kids 6-10yrs 4 hour workshop = $95
A workbook to keep, all craft materials, a bottle of water, afternoon tea and Certificate of Participation is included in the total cost.
Teen Reiki Level 1 (11-16yrs)
Our Teens will receive full accreditation in the Usui Shiki Ryoho discipline of Reiki receiving 4 attunements.
Our Teens will learn how to use this healing modality to help them manage their stress and anxiety and to regulate their emotions in everyday life.
Unlike normal Reiki Workshops we also spend some time learning about chakras and auras.
Successful completion of this workshop will give you the skills and confidence to give and receive healings both seated and laying as well as having a sound knowledge of chakras and auras, how their health can affect you in everyday life and how you can maintain them for your optimum health.
Teens 11-16yrs 5.5 hour workshop =$150
A workbook to keep, a bottle of water, afternoon tea and Reiki Level 1 Certificate is included in the total cost.
Adult Reiki Level 1
Adults receive full accreditation in in the Usui Shiki Ryoho discipline of Reiki receiving 4 attunements.
Unlike normal Reiki Workshops we also spend some time learning about chakras, auras and psychic protection.
Successful completion of this workshop will give you the skills and confidence to give and receive healings both seated and laying as well as having a sound knowledge of chakras and auras, how their health can affect you in everyday life and how you can maintain them for your optimum health.
Adults 7 hour workshop = $215
A workbook to keep, a bottle of water, afternoon tea and Reiki Level 1 Certificate is included in the total cost.
Adult Reiki Level 2 (Practioner) and Level 3 (Masters)
Adults receive full accreditation in both the Usui and Seichim disciplines of Reiki.
In the Level 2 Workshop, you will receive further attunements, learn sacred Reiki symbols to strengthen your reiki healings, discover how to conduct absent or distant healings and perform a distant healing, participate in a guided meditation and demonstrate your ability to give and receive healings both seated and laying. This workshop also allows time for discussion on how to use colour and crystals in your healings including how to conduct a Chakra Balance using a pendulum. It is held over two days over two consecutive weekends for a total of 11 hours at a total cost of $335. This cost includes a workbook to keep, afternoon tea, a bottle of water and snacks and a Reiki Level 2 Certificate in both the Usui and Seichim Disciplines of Reiki allowing you to act as a Practioner.
In the Level 3 Workshop, you will receive further attunements, learn sacred Reiki symbols to strengthen your reiki healings including the Master Symbol, demonstrate your ability to use level 2 and 3 symbols in a healing, participate in a guided meditation and learn how to attune others to the Reiki system of healing. The total cost and duration of this workshop is dependant on the participants themselves and is available upon application.
