Managing Anxiety: Back to School Kids 9-12yrs
This workshop is designed to teach you and your children some calming and stress management strategies and techniques to help ensure a successful start/back-to-school transition.
It is open to our children and their parents/carers and is suitable for:
1. current students as a reminder and practise session,
2. for new students and families as an introduction session and
3. for anyone who just needs that little extra support at this time of year.
(Parents/Carers attend for free).
Topics and flow of the day will be somewhat dependent on the participants themselves but, topics open for inclusion may include:
* What is stress?
* Stress and the brain?
* Where do I feel stress in my body?
* Breathing Exercises.
* Brain Gym.
* Mindfulness and Guided Meditation.
This session will be a fun hands on workshop with a variety of visual, auditory, physical and verbal presentations and activities to cater for all learning styles.
The cost of this workshop is $35 per child and it will be capped at 6 participants.

If this event cannot run here in person due to COVID-19 restrictions it will run as an online session instead.
A minimum number of 5 participants is required for this workshop to run. If this number is not reached then the workshop will be cancelled and full refunds will be issued.
If you need to cancel, advance notice is needed to refund payments. A minimum of 12 hours is requested and a full refund will be issued (or transfer of funds to another event) if I can fill your spot. If your spot cannot be filled then no refund can be given. (Special Considerations may apply to some participants so please do not hesitate to contact me with any concerns).
