Managing Empathy Sensitive Kids 7-11yrs
Do your kids have a heightened sensitivity to other peoples emotions? Does your child suffer from more than the average number of respiratory ailments or stomach aches? Does he or she worry about things that are not age appropriate? Does your child have an excessive feeling of responsibility? Does he or she seem to cry for no reason? Does your child have trouble sleeping? Do they have anger management issues?
If you answered Yes to any of these questions then your child may be highly sensitive or an empath kid.
Empathic children, or highly sensitive children, tend to feel all emotions much more strongly. They will feel your stress and anxiety and want to heal that for you. They will take on the feelings and emotions of those around them (positive and negative) which can cause them high levels of stress and anxiety and can lead to a wide range of physical ailments.
In this workshop, you and your child will learn what an Empath or highly sensitive child is as well as strategies to help your child self-regulate their empathy.
Topics will include but are not limited to:
* What is an empath?
* Grounding/Earthing methods
* Breathing Exercises
* How Crystals can help
* Clearing Negative Energy methods
* Energy protection
This session will be a fun hands-on workshop with a variety of visual, auditory, physical and verbal presentations and activities to cater for most learning styles.
(Each participant will also receive a suitable crystal).
About your facilitator:
“Kim is the founder of Rainbow Light Therapies and is a Holistic Counsellor specialising in stress and anxiety management for kids, teens and adults. After her son’s autism diagnosis in 2007, Kim came to the realisation that the best way she could help her son and others who suffered similarly from stress and anxiety, was to teach him and them, how they could manage their own stress and anxiety. Long-Term medication could simply not be the ONLY option available. Combining mainstream and alternative therapies, Kim provides a unique, intuitive and individualised therapy approach to stress and anxiety management through individual, small group and family sessions and workshops. Kim also works with special needs kids and their families as an NDIS registered provider. “
